Staff were always very pleasant & very helpful

An electric kettle in the room would also be great.

It's location - close to the Plaka/Syntagma. Seemed good value for money and w ewere not disappointed.

Location

Entrance looks impressive, but rooms themselves + walkways very old / not well maintained. In addition, staff refusing to give out showtimes of a local cinema, with best solution to be venture there and see (!)

Roof-top facilities

Really great and perfact location! In between Plaka and Syntagma! Got upgraded to a really good room with an Acropolis view! Staff were really amazing and efficient!

Lack of Wifi- should be standard by now in hotels of this quality

Great hotel, clean, nicely decorated with a modern design, reasonably sized rooms. A rooftop bar with amazing views of Acropolis. Also very well priced. All around a good choice. Situated well in the near of all major sights in Athens.

Not a whole lot I can think of.

The Central Hotel is modern and very comfortably appointed. Good size bedroom, well appointed bathroom, good facilities, located near the Plaka, the main shopping and restaurant area of Athens, and overlooks the Acropolis. With a good GPS finding the hotel is reasonably easy, the narrow one way streets of Athens can be trying. Overall a good experiece staying at the Central.

Only downside is the elevator, small three passenger car.

Loved the decor,clean and fresh ,extremely friendly staff including the restaurant staff who were very attentive.

The rooms were adequate for sleeping but needed a little more room for luggage.

Liked the location! Very nice view from the restaurant on the roof. Sit there late at night, when he plays nice music and lights up the Acropolis, a beautiful view. прекрасное местоположение! вид с крыши отеля на акрополь. приятно вечером посидеть там (играет приятная музыка) и посмотреть на вид афин и акрополь)

Did not like the fact that the bedding was stained with yellow. But the bell at the reception - we were given a new number, and even more comfortable than ever. View from the windows on the wall and windows of the building - but if you do not stay there for a long time, it does not bother) shower with nothing but the mind ... from the blind smell of dampness. постельное белье было с желтыми пятнами. но по звонку на ресепшн - нам дали новый номер- даже больше и уютнее прежнего. вид из окон на стену и окна здания - но если не на долго там оставаться, то особо не смущает) душ с виду ничего но ... от шторок пахнет сыростью, и на уголках кафеля затухлость.

Friendly, helpful staff. Brilliant location, close to main transport. Breakfast came with tariff. Good food. Roof garden offered excellent views of Acropolis (as did our room).

Room was small for 2 people. Lift held max 3 people so very difficult with luggage and if several people wanted to go upstairs.

Central Hotel is a modern hotel. Centrally located an easy walk from the terminal of the X95 bus from the airport and an easy walk to the metro to Piraeus. Rooms are large with all facilities - similar to other hotels of its standard. The roof cafe has an excellent view of the Acropolis and the Jacuzzi area has plenty of chairs for sunbaking or just relaxing. This area makes the hotel a cut above others. Somewhere to rest the feet, watch the sun setting over the Acropolis - all in a civilised manner.

The execellent location

Great location near Syntagma Square, convenient for the city centre and transport links to Airport and Piraeus. Fantastic views of the Acropolis from the roof terrace. Nice breakfast/dining room.

Very close to bus and train stations, and central to main attractions in Athens

Great Location within easy walk of the sites. Friendly staff. Roof terrace is fantastic with amazing views over the city. New bar opening a few days after we left should be lovely.

Jacuzzi was very cold.
